The Middle East Communications Corporation is a private limited company providing and serving Jordan and the Middle East region with integrated communications solutions. It is actively pursuing licensing in several parts of the Middle East to become a single essential source for reliable, integrated and cost-effective communications services.
The company, a member of the International Telecommunications Union ITU, partners with the largest of network providers in the world,

with Orbit, Helius and Hughes Olivetti.
Data Services: Featuring frame relay, ATM and X.25.
Voice and Mobile Services (Thuraya): Providing a seamless coverage
of mobile telecommunications service, uninterrupted, beyond
boundaries of terrestrial systems and cellular networks.

3) Knowledge Applications: MEC
provides a wide range of knowledge-based applications that include
portal, data warehousing, information center and hosting portals.

represent the first stage for web and server based applications.
Security and data Warehousing / Integration: MEC recognizes
the security and certification, procedures are becoming a
pre-requisite for legalizing all forms of e-transactions. Plans to
